Do you struggle with dancing in social settings or at events such as weddings & birthdays? Do you feel awkward on the dance floor? Well this class is for you! It is a class for absolute beginners and couples – we will teach you basic steps you can use on the dance floor as well as basic couple dancing (please note you do not need to bring a partner). You will learn how to hear the beat of the music, move with confidence, and learn to embrace social dancing rather than shying away from it. This class is perfect for couples – lots of fun, no pressure, no judgment – just laughs and dancing!

Tuesday 10:30-11:15am COST: $9

This fun dance/movement class will be designed for the more mature adult (55+years) and will focus on functional stretching & exercises leading into basic dance steps/moves/simple choreography. Think grooving out to ABBA, swaying to Sinatra, and twirling to The Beatles! The class will be different each week & there is no need to remember moves week to week. Dancing has been proven to increase flexibility and coordination as well as improve memory and the mind/body connection so it is perfect for this age group. Dancing is for everyone, not just young kids! So why not grab a group of friends and give it a go?!

Miss Zoe's School of Dance can offer private lessons for those people not feeling confident enough to dance in a group setting - do you feel uncomfortable at social occasions and want some go-to moves?! We can help with that! From learning how to move your body to the beat of the music to more complex steps, we can tailor the lessons to your ability with your goals in mind. Does this sound like it's for you? Then contact Miss Zoe via the Contact Us Page to organise a suitable day/time. We can also accomodate for couples and small groups.

Cost: $30 for 30 mins.
